Abstract

The manifestations of rhythm and acoustic music in poetic discourse stem from considering rhythm as an active linguistic-semantic structure. This structure is not limited to meter and rhyme but extends beyond them to an internal music shaped through repetition, intonation, the distribution of syllables, and phonetic and syntactic parallelism. This interplay contributes to building meaning and intensifying the aesthetic impact.

This article aims to uncover the manifestations of acoustic rhythm in the poetic text, clarify its expressive and semantic functions, and highlight its relationship to the stylistic uniqueness of poetic discourse, as well as its capacity to guide reception and evoke emotion, relying on the stylistic approach and mechanisms of phonetic analysis.
