Abstract

Ayurveda is an ancient medical method that has been around for thousands of years. It takes a holistic approach to health care, putting an emphasis on maintaining a balance between the body, the mind, and the spirit. Particularly in the field of pediatric care, ayurvedic medicine is gaining popularity all over the world due to the natural cures and preventative healthcare measures that it offers. the use of Ayurvedic medicine to children and adolescents, with a particular emphasis on the therapeutic potential, safety, and effectiveness of this approach in the treatment of a variety of pediatric conditions. Taking into consideration the young person's physical and mental development, the principles of Ayurvedic treatments, which include dietary interventions, herbal formulations, and lifestyle modifications, are adapted to meet the special requirements of young people. awareness the specific needs of children and teenagers requires an awareness of key Ayurvedic principles such as Prakriti, which refers to an individual's constitution, Vata, Pitta, and Kapha, which are the three doshas, and Agni, which refers to the digestive fire. Thru the use of natural treatments, Ayurvedic therapy treats a variety of common pediatric diseases, including digestive troubles, respiratory infections, skin concerns, and behavioral challenges. It has been established that certain herbs, such as Ashwagandha (Withania somnifera), Brahmi (Bacopa monnieri), and Tulsi (Ocimum sanctum), have the potential to improve cognitive function, promote immunity, and reduce stress and worry associated with children.
