Abstract

Since the digestive tract influences the body's food absorption, cleansing, and homeostasis, maintaining good digestive health is crucial to overall wellness. The Indian medical tradition known as Ayurveda has a long and storied history. In addition to a wealth of information about holistic remedies for digestive issues, it offers a deep comprehension of digestive health. Healthy digestion is the goal of many Ayurvedic practices, including food recommendations and herbal remedies. Ayurveda posits that environmental factors, an individual's constitution (Prakriti), and preexisting imbalances (Vikriti) all play a role in the complex process of digestion. That the digestive fire, or "Agni," is essential for nutrient digestion and illness prevention in the digestive tract is recognized. Nutrition, lifestyle, and mental health are just a few of the many aspects that might affect gut health.
